この時期は旧年について振り返り、新年を迎え入れる時です。全ての人にとって、2019年が意味ある一年になるよう私たちの目標と願望を設定しましょう。
あらゆる先住民族が、嫌がらせを受けることなく、自分たちのスピリチュアルなそして宗教的な信仰を実践できますように。
あらゆる先住民族が、投獄や拷問などの脅威を受けずに、自由に発言することができますように。
あらゆる先住民族が、文化的虐殺の怖れなく、自らの言語と文化を維持することができますように。
あらゆる先住民族が、弾圧されることなく、自由の中で生きられますように。人類の豊かさと文化的多様性は、先住民族の文化から生まれます。
そのような貴重な宝を失わないようにしましょう。
これが2019年への私の心からの願いです。
人類全体、動物界、そして母なる大地を確実に守り続けられるよう、一丸となって取り組みましょう。
母なる大地が瀕死の状態です。
2019年は、クリーンエネルギーを積極的に発展させ支援することによって、二酸化炭素の排出量を転換しましょう。
2019年は、海洋ごみも回収し海もきれいにしましょう。
2019年は、私たち自身の心も頭もきれいにしましょう。
It is the time of year to reflect on the old and bring in the new. Let’s set our sights and aspirations for a meaningful new year for everyone in 2019. May all indigenous peoples have the basic human rights to practice their spiritual/religious beliefs without harassment. May all indigenous peoples be able to speak freely without the threat of imprisonment and torture. May all indigenous peoples be able to preserve their language and culture without the fear of cultural genocide. May all indigenous peoples be able to live in freedom without oppression. Humanity’s richness and cultural diversity comes from indigenous peoples’ culture. Let’s not loose these precious gems. This are my heartfelt wish for 2019. Let us work together to ensure the preservation of the richness of humanity, animal kingdom, and mother earth. Mother earth is dying. Let’s turn CO2 emissions around by actively developing and supporting clean energy in 2019. Let’s clean up the oceans in 2019. Let’s clean up the air in 2019. Let’s clean up our hearts and minds in 2019. Emaho!
